This blog has been keeping track of my adventures since 2004. The stories and the adventures have come from my college dorm room to Uganda, Peace Corps Kyrgyzstan, learning Dutch in the Netherlands to living in the wilds of Homer, Alaska. I went back to school in Amsterdam to study Theaterwetenschap (Theatre Science) at University of Amsterdam. And now my adventures as a Fruit Fly, a Sexy Unicorn, and creating a movement with Team Sparkle in Chicago.

My fleeting youth

This morning while I looked in the mirror and popped a zit(don't worry I already know your not suppose to do that, I just don't care) I saw IT! The first sign that my youth is on the way out. A GREY HAIR! What a cruel joke. Poping a zit, a sign of my extended adolesence, and a grey hair right in the front of my head, the sign that my youth is gone.
I'm trapped in ag limbo right now.

a grey hair huh, maybe its just the product of being an au pair and arguing over fruit and a bottle for so long. i just looked at the pictures you posted, it looks so peaceful there minus the rooster/hens that look they are planning an attack outside the window.

Hmmm I find the zit to be a sign of eternal youth the grey hair seems to infer that u are becoming mature yet fully grey and old, yet no longer a young child. Hmmmmm (guess who i am)

    K-Roll!

Whoa! Don't worry, I think people in Europe live to be 200 or something... But be careful when you come back to the US, it's like a time warp thing, instant aging. I'm in a place where people don't age quickly, they grow up quickly, which I'm adamantly against. Married with children at 19, bah! I agree with Caitlin, age ain't nuthin but a number, and who likes math?! Eh? Eh? Who's with me? Well I think I should be at work already by now. Before I go though, I'll pop a zit for you, nobody likes to do that alone.
