This blog has been keeping track of my adventures since 2004. The stories and the adventures have come from my college dorm room to Uganda, Peace Corps Kyrgyzstan, learning Dutch in the Netherlands to living in the wilds of Homer, Alaska. I went back to school in Amsterdam to study Theaterwetenschap (Theatre Science) at University of Amsterdam. And now my adventures as a Fruit Fly, a Sexy Unicorn, and creating a movement with Team Sparkle in Chicago.

My aerodynamics

Cycling in the netherlands is a national past time. But I ahve to say one thing about it... It's windy in the Netherlands. And I'm no Lance Armstrong. I'm probbaly the least aerodynamical person in the world. So, when I bike against the wind I come to an almost complete stop. Fortunately I bike alt in the early morning so it is only me and the farmers that are out at that time. I'll be inching along at my ever slow pace against the wind and then when a farmer comes by in his tractor I ahve to try and speed up as best I can to not apear to be as slow as I am... My answers aren't blowing in the wind... It's just a pain in my ass....
